Boys’ Clubs: Bay to Bay Volleyball Club – San Jose

About the Club

Bay to Bay is a junior boys volleyball club that serves players from the San Francisco Bay to Monterey Bay. Their players come from all over the Northern California area to learn the game of volleyball from their coaching staff. 

Bay to Bay was founded in 2000 and has continued since it’s inception to provide high quality training and a positive environment to all the athletes that call Bay to bay home.

Their club has sent more than 70 players to NCAA programs, has had 15 athletes named to the “Fab 50” list, and has won 5 Junior National medals! Bay to Bay has more alumni playing at the collegiate level (Divisions 1, 2 and 3) than any other club in Northern California.

Tristan Burton:

• 5 years coaching with Division 1 Men’s program at UC San Diego

• Graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in mechanical engineering

• Graduated from Stanford University with a M.S. & Ph.D. in mechanical engineering

• Published the article titled “A Comprehensive Statistics System for Volleyball Match Analysis”

• Has made a number of scientific contributions to the Gold Medal Squared coaching theory

• Coached at numberous clubs around the country including TimeOut, Coast, and City Beach
