About the Club

Aloha Volleyball Club strives to provide quality training for every player involved in our program, from power teams to recreation teams. All of our teams are coached by experienced Power Leagues coaches including our Premier (Area) teams.  Below are some of the advantages in playing for Aloha VBC. All of our power coaches and our premier (area) coaches are impact certified through USA Volleyball, the national governing body of Juniors club volleyball. Some of our coaches have also participated in additional training called Gold Medal Squared. The knowledge the coaches received from this training is passed around to the other coaches to allow for a more cohesive playing environment a play has through-out her/his playing career with Aloha.

(Formerly) Point Break Volleyball Club:

Point Break Volleyball Club (PBVC) was a Youth Volleyball organization aimed at providing youths the opportunity to participate and develop in the sport of Volleyball, in a competitive atmosphere. Point Break offered a unique competitive environment for young girls and boys (ages 10-18) to participate and excel in the sport of volleyball. They provided professional coaching by coaches from many of the areas best scholastic programs. P

Living Aloha is the coordination of mind and heart within each person. It brings each person to the self.
Each person must think and express good feelings to others.
Akahai, kindness to be expressed with tenderness;
Lokahi, unity, to be expressed with harmony;
Oluolu, agreeable, to be expressed with pleasantness;
Haahaa, humility, to be expressed with modesty;
Ahonui, patience, to be expressed with perseverance.

Over the years, Point Break has enjoyed an extremely encouraging growth, expanding in both the Power League and Area League divisions. In a climate where many clubs have seen contracting numbers, and many have had to fold, Point Break has only grown. As Point Break grows, so do its coaches. Most of Point Break’s original coaches still coach there, and now hold Head Coaching positions at High Schools all over the South Bay.
