About the Club

Coming off their inaugural season following the strategic merger of Cal Synergy and Force, the foundation of the Synergy Force Volleyball Club is solid.  They are both excited and eager to advance our platform according to plan. Their goal is to create the most complete volleyball program in Northern California in a “positive” environment with a “balanced” approach and a commitment to “teach.”

Research clearly shows that sports provide kids with a multitude of benefits from many different aspects of development.  These include Physical, Emotional, Physiological, Academic, Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution, Discipline, and Work Ethic.  As a club, they take their influential role in fostering the benefits of sport very seriously. SynergyForce constantly re-evaluates their practices and methods to ensure that they capture the opportunity to learn for both our young athletes and ourselves.  The foundation of their program is a commitment to “teach.”

Highlights

SynergyForce 17-1’s went undefeated at the NCVA Regional Championships in Reno, May 10-11th, capturing first place in the 17’s Division. This follows their first place finish in the Far Western Regional where they earned an Open Bid to the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships in Minneapolis this June. The 17-1’s defeated Five Starz in a thrilling championship match 25-21, 23-25, 15-13 to bring home the championship.

Noteworthy Coaches

Alynn Wright: 11 Section Titles, 14 League and 3 Sac Bee Coach of the Year Awards, National Women and Girls Sports Coach of the Year, coached NCAA D-1.

Ashlie Hain: 2005 UC Irvine Atudent Athlete of the Year.

Greg Chapman: Men’s NCVA Gold Championship, multiple USVBA AA Silver Championships.
