Girls’ Clubs: Vision Volleyball Club – Los Gatos

About the Club

Established in 1998, Vision Volleyball Club™ is a girls club located in Los Gatos, CA. Vision trains young athletes in the sport of volleyball through practice and competition, in a constructive and positive atmosphere. Coaching philosophy teaches discipline, commitment, responsibility, teamwork, and self-pride. Vision sets a standard for junior club volleyball through its development, professionalism, values, and high standards of player development.

Vision Volleyball Club offers competitive travel teams for girls at age levels 12-and-under through 18-and-under. Teams are comprised of 11 or 12 players, and are selected through tryouts. Vision teams compete with the goal of developing individual athletes’ skills, while maintaining a team goal of qualifying for, and successfully competing at the USA Junior National Championships. Teams play in the NCVA (Northern California Volleyball Association) sponsored Power League, and in USA qualifier tournaments. For the 2013 season, Vision will field 13 teams.

The Area League program is designed for those players who want a competitive volleyball experience, without the added time commitment that is a part of Power League teams. The program provides an opportunity for girls who have an interest in volleyball, but also have other activities that occupy their time.
These teams will compete in the NCVA Area league. Area teams will practice twice week and the season will run for 5 months, from January to May. There are 5 competitive playing dates and a year-end championship in May. Vision will have two teams, one 14 and under and one 12 and under.
