About the Club

The mission of Mountain View Volleyball Club, a nonprofit 501c3, is to develop student-athletes to reach their highest potential as players, teammates and leaders on and off the volleyball court. Their mission is producing a growing community of youth, parents, coaches and community leaders dedicated to:

1. Developing the total person by balancing the priorities of physical training, academics, community service, play and rest.

2. Training and competing at the highest level in a fun and competitive atmosphere.

3. Championing the sport of volleyball to youth from all backgrounds throughout our region at an affordable price through our competitive and recreational teams, camps and clinics.

4. Providing the top dedicated facility in our region for volleyball, strength training and cultivating community within MVVC and beyond at Gateway Neighborhood Center.

5. Promoting professionalism and continuous education among our coaching staff.

Facility

With 16,000 sq ft of practice space, 4 courts, and a weight area, MVVC has coupled high level coaching with one of the best gyms in northern California.

Highlights

14 Red led the charge and took first in Gold.
18 Black moved from Silver to Gold
17 Red Finished 5th in Gold
16 Red finished 3rd in Gold with 16 Black right behind them in 5th.
15 Red stayed in Gold at 9th
14 Black Finished 5th in Gold. 

Noteworthy Coaches

Don Shaw: One of the top coaches in collegiate volleyball history, Don Shaw established Stanford University as a national powerhouse in his 26 seasons coaching both men & women’s teams.
