Touch 3 Volleyball Class

This is a year round program, coaching kids ages 6 and up. Classes are run out of Prospect high school on Sundays from 9am to 3:30pm. Touch 3 director is Smitha Kumar who is helped by five other coaches during the classes.

Kids are segregated according to their skill levels and placed into appropriate groups . Most kids have made into School, Varsity and club volleyball teams.

Touch 3 does participate in some open tournaments , which helps kids to gain confidence and play at ease as they  move into higher level of competition.

Adults who wish to learn the game are also welcome.

Currently Touch 3 will be fielding three youth teams, four woman’s teams, and two men’s teams in the Bayvolley tournament on 16th of March at Independence High School, San Jose.

For kids 6 years and above, Touch 3:

  1. Concentrates in teaching basic fundamentals of the game like passing, setting, hitting and serving
  2. Prepares kids to play the game in a competitive level in simulated game environments

For Adults:

  1. There is no prior experience needed.
  2. Basic fundamentals are taught in fun way to exercise and learn the game
