Stingray Juniors Clinics

The Stingray Juniors Clinics are run by Stingray Club Director Vonda Reid. This program is designed especially for girls from 6 to 14 years old and includes 6 to 8 instructional sessions that range from 90 minutes to two hours in length. The Juniors program focuses on mastering the fundamentals of the game and promotes skill development and proper technique. It is a great way to transition from school volleyball or more recreational type programs like the USYVL into competitive club volleyball.

West Valley Volleyball Club Clinic

There will be two sessions of clinics at Rolling Hills Middle School. Session one will focus on fundamentals and refining basic skills.  Session 2 will emphasize defensive and offensive transitions.

13-14 years old:  10:00 am – 11:30am (9:30am check-in)

15+ years old:     12:00pm – 1:30pm (11:30am check-in)

WVVC 2014/2015 clinic fees are:

One session = $30 each

Two sessions = $55 when purchasing two together

Fun attitude ready to play!

IVL Adult Volleyball Clinic

Instructors will include local coaches Malcolm Taylor, Thien Vu among others.

Setting, Spiking, passing and digging will be emphasized along with team defense.

2014 Stanford Girls’ Volleyball Camps

Grades 4-6

The Stanford women’s volleyball program has announced its 2014 camp dates. Online registration begins at 9 a.m. PST on Feb. 4. Early registration will not be accepted. Below are the dates for each camp, with all indoor day camps running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Grade is that which the camper will be entering in fall 2014.

New this year to the Stanford women’s volleyball summer camps are sand camps. More details to follow.

Overnight Advanced Setters’ Camp

Grades 9-12

This camp is a unique approach for a limited number of players who strive to improve their setting skills. There will be a ratio of only 4 players to each coach. The instruction will be focused and individualized.
