Course Description:

Emphasis will be on improvement and consistency of all volleyball skills. Fun game-like drills, using the nets, maximizing ball contacts, and opportunity for feedback. Class will include team play, with six person teams practicing the 6-2 offensive system. Students should be able to serve, pass, set, spike, block, and dig the ball with some consistency. This is not a class for beginners.

This is a repeating class. See alternate dates, times and locations.

Each weekly two-hour class is generally one-hour of DRILLS and one-hour of PLAY.
DRILLS:Game-like drills using the nets and maximizing ball contacts (and feedback from the coach).

Skills taught are team-play oriented with a FUN practice/play atmosphere.
PLAY: Intermediate/Advanced level play, six-person teams, using 6-2 offensive system, perimeter defense.
